Nichol Magourik Inspired Page

I know I'm behind the times, but I recently discovered Nichol Magourik's work and classes on Two peas in a Bucket and I am in love!  I love everything about her pages - the colours, the stamping, the layouts, everything!

Here is my first attempt at incorporating some of her techniques and tips into a scrapbook page:

"I love this smile"
I love how she layers her die cut titles to give them a shadow effect so that's what I did.  What a difference it makes!  I used to find that my die cut titles looked flat, now the title pops!

I also love how she incorporates the date on her pages, usually using a label sticker and a date stamp.  And I added a stamped embellishment as well.

She also adds such great little touches over the page.  Not to mention how much she loves her tiny attacher!  I just got one and I know understand her obsession!  It's fantastic!!!  I also only used the "B" side of all the papers!  Until I watched her videos I always felt guilty not using the bold "A" side but not anymore! - Check out her video for sale "Confessions of a 'B' side Scrapper"- worth every penny!

It's all in the details!
Someday I hope to create pages half as lovely as hers, but until then I am inspired to keep trying!

Here's a list of supplies used:

White cardstock - Close to My Heart
Yellow patterned Paper, dragonfly sticker & It's a Beautiful Life Sticker- Creative Memories

PS.  I cannot wait until January 18th's free Webinar with Nichol entitled "How to take Amazing Project Photos" presented by Layout A Day.  Hopefully I'll pick up a few pointers!

Thanks for stopping by!
